HR Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to lead and manage our Human Resource's department. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping our company culture, driving employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations. This position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.
  • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process to attract and retain top talent.
  • Manage employee relations, including resolving conflicts and addressing grievances.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Design and administer compensation, benefits, and performance management programs.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to support employee development and career growth.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture and drive employee engagement initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making and improve processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on HR-related matters.
  • Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to create a welcoming and inclusive workplace.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, labor relations, organizational development, business or related area; relevant work experience may be a substitute
  • Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, safety, hiring and employee relations; able to apply these strategies and practices in compliance with employment regulations
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English, Dutch, Papiamento and Spanish
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to create a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration and teamwork
  • Experience with analyzing data to guide strategic employment planning
  • Thorough understanding of Aruba's labor laws
  • Proficient in Payroll Pro and Excel
